Our review of Bintang Palace

First, a note on the name. An earlier Bintang Palace operated behind Starhill from 1995 and closed in 2018 for redevelopment. Reports at the time said it would not relocate. So the current Menara MBf venue may be a different operator using the same name. We found no official website or social page to confirm either way.

We have not visited in person. This review relies on the Google Maps listing, a nightlife directory and public reviews. Google shows a 4.4 rating from 134 reviews, and new reviews and photos were still appearing in 2026. A third-party KTV listing gives the Chinese name 天上人间.

Rooms and sound

The venue offers private KTV rooms, but it does not publish room sizes or counts. Google reviewers describe a luxurious décor. They also mention live performances alongside karaoke. However, nobody publishes a room list or sound details, so ask when you book.

Food and drinks

We found no menu or drinks list online. Therefore, ask the venue what packages it offers and what they include. Also ask whether food is served, since we found no mention of a kitchen.

Service and crowd

It is an adult venue for guests aged 18 and over, according to a third-party listing. That same listing warns that security may turn away walk-ins when the venue is full. As a result, booking ahead is the safer plan. If this is your first lounge visit, our KTV etiquette guide explains how a typical night works.

Who it suits best

It suits adult groups who want a central, very late night out near the Golden Triangle. On the other hand, it is an 18+ venue and does not suit children. If you are new to lounges, our guide to what is KTV explains how a typical lounge night differs from a casual singing session.

Bintang Palace price and minimum spend

The venue does not publish room rates or a minimum spend. Fifteen Google Maps users report spending RM200 or more per person (checked October 2026). That places it firmly in the premium bracket. Still, these are self-reported figures, so verify with the venue before you go.

For a wider comparison of lounge costs, see our KTV price KL guide. Overall, plan a premium budget and ask for the full price list on arrival.

How to get to Bintang Palace

The address is Level 4 & 5, Menara MBf, Jalan Sultan Ismail, 50450 Kuala Lumpur. Raja Chulan Monorail station is a short walk away, according to property listings for the tower. One 2025 forum thread places the venue at the neighbouring Life Centre instead, so treat that as unconfirmed and check when you call.

Google Maps lists late hours: 6pm to 6am from Saturday to Wednesday, and 6pm to 5am on Thursday and Friday. Because nights end near dawn, e-hailing is the practical way home. The only phone number we found is +60 17-770 4848 on Google Maps. Also, a third-party site warns that numbers online may belong to agents, so confirm who you are speaking to.
